How Good Product Photography Can Sell Your Business?

As humans, we love to observe. Even from when we were babies, picture books are what we loved first – especially the brightly colored images with bold shapes and graphics.
Our love for visuals is the reason social networks like Instagram and Pinterest are so popular. One compelling image can tell a whole story. Plus, it’s just fun to feast your eyes on pictures of fashion, lifestyle, food, and other awesome new products – whatever fills your personal newsfeed.
From flaunting that gorgeous wedding ring to the dinner you just whipped up, Product photography Sydney is useful on many occasions. This photography type generally uses one product as its focal point and highlights the intricate details to roll eyeballs to the product.
Highlight the intricate details
Not only are pictures more efficient to get a story across in a matter of seconds, but they also help us relate to one another as humans.
I use that product too! This cuisine is my favorite too! I get my groceries there as well. I am normal, after all.
Pictures are essential for businesses, too. No matter what industry you are in, eye-grabbing pictures are important for telling your brand’s story and connecting with people via your website. In my opinion, strong branding is crucial and top choice in a picture-driven society.
Every picture says a story!
As a product photographer, I have always been a fan of photographs in natural settings. Highly stylized images are effective for attention-grabbing marketing pieces and can really draw the eyeballs. However, if you want your customer to associate your brand with authenticity, capture real moments.

Natural Is Magical!!
Hire a professional product photographer Sydney whose style closely fits your brand. Not only you will have amazing pictures, but also potential business collaboration since you may cater to similar clientele.
Now the next question might be…what to photograph? Put yourself in the place of your potential client and think what would you enjoy seeing? Do you demonstrate the use of your products? Do you want to provoke an emotion? Do you want to demand attention? Getting an answer to all these questions will clearly define your picture story.
Product Photography Speaks!
Viewers like to get a glimpse of behind-the-scenes. So share the moments that your customers usually do not get to see. This can be anything like a chef hard at work in a kitchen to a little of your favourite milkshake left in the bottle. Make sure to pair the images with a descriptive, fun caption. Creativity counts here!
And the curtain is raised!!
Don’t forget to show off your happy customers. Dedicate an album to portraits of real people who are greatly pleased with the products sold by your brand.
The happiness in his face!!!
A note about sharing:
Obviously, it’s essential to distribute the photos digitally, but just don’t limit yourself to digital sharing. Sometimes the best way to make an impact with the photographs is the old-fashioned way – with a printed copy. Diversify!
Do you have pictures your customers would want, such as pictures of them at one of your company events? Startle them by sending a printed picture with your logo on it. Your effort is guaranteed to make an impression.

Product Photography Trends to Keep an Eye on in 2019

Have you ever felt like the photography world keeps turning, turning and turning, and turning, and you are not moving on? Taking into account how fast the technology evolves and photography trends change, we can assure that you are not the only one feeling like this. As new techniques and styles emerge, you might sense the urge to do a 180-degree turn, but before you do that, we have only one thing to say: Don’t.

Trends might come and go, and in the end, you are able to offer your personal style. There are a few reasons why you should keep up with photography trends, none of which include jumping into them blindly.

                                                           The Not-To-Miss Trends

Staying up-to-date on what is going on in the industry can be a great source of inspiration. This may even introduce you to new creative concepts that you have never tried or known about before.

So are you ready to take a look into the future? These are some of the important photography trends that product photographer Sydney should keep an eye on in 2019.

Ingredient Roll-Call

This will definitely entice you to grab the packet

A prominent trend in product photography is one that goes hand-in-hand with the growing demand for brand transparency. This involves integrating visually appealing pictures that speak out the ingredients present in a specific product. An example of this can be seen with ‘eco ORGANICS – Certified Organic Knot.’ The packaging highlights the ingredients that take out the mystery of figuring out what is inside the packet.

Play with Color

                                                               Colours can be magical

Undoubtedly, the color will play one of the colossal trends in 2019. While this has also been true for previous years, however, 2019 may show something different. Vibrant, electric colors are likely to take the front seat as they communicate a clear, eye-catching, and strong message of strength and individuality for individuals and brands alike. Visually, we can expect to see brighter and louder colors being used throughout the year to garner attention from image sensitive users on platforms like blogs, social media, and marketing communications.

Cut-Outs with an Artistic Appeal

For those brands looking to stand out in a typical way, another popular trend is to incorporate product photography in an artistic manner. This can be achieved by utilizing cutout imagery along with other patterns or graphics.

                                               Cutout images can be appealing

Light Them Up

Lighting is the key to your amazing product images. It is a photographer’s best friend when it comes to achieving the right aura for their next great shot.
You could have the best camera in the world, but if you do not have great lighting, you won’t be able to have attention garner photos. Natural lighting is quite cheap and easy. A set-up near the window is the best option as you can use the sun as the direct source of light. However, keep in mind that the sun’s color and intensity keeps on changing throughout the day, so an organized and quick shoot is crucial for consistent photos.
Artificial lighting is the more difficult and expensive option but will work better for larger products and you will have a lot more control over the results. Colorful fairy lights are also a staple when it comes to creating dreamy product photographs.

Take It to the Streets

Street photography is a genre that is challenging to master and often overlooked. It requires an eagle eye for turning ordinary everyday scenes into extraordinary visuals and a super-fast finger on the shutter. It is a brilliant opportunity to capture the irreplaceable moments of magic that comes from the traditions, cultures, and happenings of wherever you may be. Check out bustling community areas like public places, IT Park, or large-scale events to snap some awesome shots.

                                                          Isn’t it awesome?

So what photography trends are you excited to pick up or try out in 2019? Don’t forget to share your thoughts with us.

Boost Your Sale Online with the Best Product Photography Sydney

Hello Folks!!! I am so excited today to share with you people one of my experiences I had recently. A few days back, I suddenly had this craving of having a Kobe beef hamburger and this instant hunger struck me when I was surfing the Internet on my mobile phone and the hamburger ad suddenly popped up. And as I am a big big big burger lover, I could not control my taste bud and thought to try out with something new this time. (And yes, apart from being a Blogger, I am a great Foodie too!!)

So I just went on scrolling to see which burger to order and was getting more hunger-stricken seeing each of the pictures loading. And finally, my search ended upon the delicious looking Kobe Beef Burger. Juicy and flavorful, the Kobe beef patty was topped with crisp red onions, tomatoes, and fresh leaf lettuce on a delicious flame broiled bun. Immensely taken aback just seeing the image, I instantly hit the ‘Place Order’ button and it was there within no time.

But guys, I didn’t find the hamburger to be that delectable (no offense, the choice is strictly personal) and appealing, the way it was looking like in the picture. I just regretted trying something new and wasting my bucks.
However, this did not disappoint me, as I was all there with another super-duper new idea for my next blog on how immensely powerful this product photography can be.
And here I am….

Lifestyle photography enables you to add essential context, also wherever possible, you can add a human element by using models for better understanding. You are trying to persuade customers to buy the products without touching or seeing the product in real life. So the more visual you can make, the better it will be.

Allow Zooming: If your images are of high-quality, then there should be no difficulty with the visitors being able to zoom in or viewing them full-size. This will help to build trust and show-off the finer details of your products; however, you need to ensure that the quality is not lost when the image is zoomed in.

Can your Product Photographer in Sydney Deliver Top-Quality?

"A picture is worth a thousand words." Well, in the commercial market, "A picture is worth a thousand bucks!"

Never has this been more authentic than in product photography. A single image of a product defines a wealth of information in an instant. Moreover, the concepts you can find in an image is ample than what writing could have conveyed! Thus, good quality images revamp sales and assure customer satisfaction. So before hiring a product photographer in Sydney, make sure that he has some pretty good skills and excellent production quality.

Why are high-quality images of a product imperative?

  1.  Superior quality images create an atmosphere of professionalism. It enhances the credibility, stimulating consumer confidence. If your offline contacts are less or none, then it's the image that sells the product! Thus, top-quality product photography is necessary.

  2.  Products find deep respect from the potential buyer and their time when they see a quality image. Presenting an image for the visitor to observe, helps them know if they want the product or not. If the item fits their needs, they can decide to buy or gather more info. Clear, detailed images with appropriate resolution are the ingredients of any products' description.

How product photographers give you the quality you need?

  1.  Product photography is an art, and its quality depends on its artist. High-quality and appealing images, especially of 3D items, are not easily achieved. For that, a studio and a professional product photographer in Sydney is essential. He or she can take care of:

        The lighting
       Background setting
       Picture clarity
      •  Image composition and
       To the context appeal

  2.  Product photographers use a broad range of professional equipment to achieve the desired result. Apart from specialty lenses and cameras, props in the studio play an essential role. A professional product photographer can make use of props in ways that draw your attention to the image in an instant.

Pre-production

  3.  A product photographer will arrange each item so that it can be imaged to optimal advantage. This process includes:

      •  Refining each piece (cleaning lint that only the camera can see)
      •  Selecting the proper arrangement
      •  Positioning the items
      •  Setting the lights and background and such

Each item needs precise attention to detail while being photographed. And not to forget the composition and context while photographing groups of items.

Post-production

  4.  It includes editing processes and addition of special effects to enhance the image. Examples can be:

      •  Creating an illusion of the item floating in thin air
Separating an item from the background to superimpose into another photo
Modifying various aspects of the image separately and more

To conclude,

Once finished, you can get the image from your photographer. But if it lacks the quality or composition that defines your product, that's a bad investment. So the next time when you are up for hiring a product photographer in Sydney, start with the portfolio. It can help you a lot in the long run.
